Aspen, a purebred Maltese, was born in Brighton Colorado on July 4th 1997. She joined our family on our daughter's first day of Kindergarten that fall. Her AKC registered name was Little Lady Aspen but she answered to many aliases including Aspen, Nonie and Schnooks. Her favorite sound was the 'ch' at the beginning of chippie (for chipmunk) and chicken (for cat) the animals she loved to chase and never catch. Her favorite time of the day was when anybody came home - no matter when it was - it was always a good time for a celebration!

Aspen lived in Denver Colorado, Mount Airy Maryland, Schoenaich Germany and several hotels in between. She was a great little traveler and visited many other places including Deep Creek Lake Maryland (lots of good chippies there), Universal Studios Florida, Paris France, Prague Czech Republic, Zell Am See Austria and a great little castle in Tuscany.
